MIDI Drum Voice Control

Description

MIDI module designed to be used in the creation of drum synths. It listens for MIDI note messages with a specific MIDI note or gate inputs and sends on gate signals in response, as well as MIDI velocity data. Also features Mute Inputs and Outputs to allow the creation of Mute Groups, as for open and closed hi-hats.

GIn	Gate	Gate signal input, e.g. from an MVC or gate output of a sequencer module. Used instead of the MIDI Input
vel (in)	Async	Set the velocity value to be used when the module is triggered by a gate signal	Unipolar
mute (in)	Async	Connect the Mute Out of another Drum module to this input. When a signal is received here, the current sound is cut off. Typically used for hi-hat groups, where an open hi-hat sound might need to be closed by a closed hi-hat.
mute (out)	Async	Connect this to the Mute Input of another Drum module. Transmits a signal whenever the module is triggered
vel (out)	Async	Sends the current MIDI velocity value, either that received on the MIDI In, or that set on the vel input	Unipolar
Go	Gate	Gate Output. Sends a gate signal whenever a MIDI Note On message is received at the MIDI In or a gate signal is received at the Gate Input
